The New redemption
For we sought redemption with tears in the previous year, And dreaming of a beautiful beginning, oh yeah! Gathering all our calabashes for the Lord's oil, But the environment cracks our dreams into the soil, And our joy fades away. Waving the future as it takes its journey. There the sun comes from its nest. With its beautiful face and hope for the best. Though we witnessed it bearing teeth And the roars of it heat, The bruising of our fate We felt betrayed. In the new year, we can see hope, And lingering on its ambitions, On top of the Afadja mountain Running towards us with archers of sweet wine. And striking off our fainted hopes alive. As we wait on the moon, to dance with it. Jcson Jenuis
