HOMECOMING

HOMECOMING

Her luggage in armpit she comes from that perspective,
The sweat walking on forehead you dont see,
The mass and weight, I guess only Newton feels,
The sight of soldiers homecoming thrills her heart,
Really? Yea, she has dreamt enough through this lonely nights,
You hear me soldier, all your thoughts for kid and wife?
Thy pledge to the nation is over now?
No this time a wife,
Seriously? We guys have been waiting for the night,
Join us at the bar, let empty the pub,
When crashed sound of bottles meet sight to unity,
It is time for the old school boy to return,
That sight of smile on that neighborhood girl,
It a homecoming,  let our smiles be like air.

Did you hear how the cemetery spoke?
How close are you to dirt?
Some are there, when are we returning?
We have been strangers on this lands,
Is it slavery? If no, we still report to our master,
The sorrow as we leave for our own lands,
Why the sorrow? The assets left on that lands,
How will I be received for the this homecoming?
In a melting oil or in molded gold?
Soldier, where does this war unfold?
I feel I die like any man,
Maybe a wrong states of mind,
Only the father and son have it in mind,
A nice supper for your homecoming?
Just this life true worth we've to find,
Paper show he bought his for seventy-years,
There're stories to tell,
Yes we still awaits,
It a homecoming, let await our fate.
